When the pool was first built, the families who helped fund it were issued bonds.  
 Over the years, many of the original bonds have been passed on through families so that children who grew up at the pool now bring their own children (and grandchildren.)  This is one of the things that provide the wonderful, deep-rooted family feel to the pool.
 Occasionally, members decide to sell their bond.  In addition, the Board of Directors periodically issues new bonds.  All bonds provide the following benefits:

•  discount on yearly pool membership
•  voting rights at the annual bondholder's meeting, and 
•  eligibility to be voted onto Board of Directors.
