Then and now....

The Bradford Swim Club “Mother’s Week" was started for members who were “stay-at-home mothers”, to come to the pool with their Pre-school children to use a very limited amount of the Pool’s facilities. The main pool was not included because there were no lifeguards on duty to oversee it. Use of the kiddy pool was permitted with the usual requirement of “parents must accompany children at all times”. But we all know it’s the 2000's and we must be politically correct, so “Mother’s Week” is now known as “Parent’s week”.
We thank you for your co-operation in advance and look forward to seeing you at the Pool this summer. The Bradford Swim Club Board of Directors
